Madilyn,
As the new chair of this group, would you tell us what, if anything, are
your personally held goals for the group's future evolution and work
product?

My own opinion is that this group should rise from its long slumber and
take a leadership position in addressing and explaining issues which are
now the subject of a frequently ill-informed society-wide debate concerning
on-line speech.

Also, may I suggest that your own credibility might be somewhat enhanced if
we could learn your full name as well as a bit about the past experience or
skills that recommended you for this new role.
