W3C CCG Co-Chair Election

Dear W3C CCG members,


My three-year term as a CCG Co-Chair is up at the end of this year.  It has
been a fun and edifying journey, but every banquet must come to an end 😀


This message serves as the formal announcement of a CCG Co-Chair election.
Per our charter, the election process begins with a two-week nomination
period, starting on *11/17/25* and running through *12/07/25*.  The open
seat will serve as my replacement and is for a full three-year term.

*Nominations*
Those interested in running for Co-Chair must self-nominate by emailing the
Credentials Community Group mailing list at:
public-credentials@w3.org.

Your nomination email must include:

   - *Your name and affiliation (if any)*
   - *A brief statement of your background and why you are interested in
   the Co-Chair role*

Nomination statements must be submitted by *11:59 PM PT **on 12/07/25*. For

*Eligibility*


   - Nominations and voting are open to all current CCG members as of
   today, 12/1/2025
   - Candidates will have the opportunity to present brief statements and
   answer questions during the CCG call on *12/08/25. *This is not required
   but will be a formal opportunity for a discussion with potential future
   chairs.

Voting Details

As outlined in the 2021 charter amendment, voting will use a
*ranked-choice* system.
Eligibility to vote is restricted to members who were part of the CCG as of
today, *11/17/24*.  The election will be overseen by the current Co-Chairs,
*Will **Abramson* and *Mahmoud Alkhraishi.*
