Reflection on governance and structured evolution in semantic modeling

Hi everyone,

I’ve been thinking a lot about how semantic modeling could evolve —
especially drawing lessons from how software engineering matured (C vs
assembler, Git vs CVS, etc.).

I shared some reflections recently here:

Curious whether others here see similar tensions in semantic modelling:

How do we balance flexible graph modeling with the need for versioning,
   structured reuse, and stable governance?

I've been working on these challenges for a while, and I'm sharing these
ideas as part of a broader effort to make semantic models more scalable,
governable, and trusted — would love to hear how others here are thinking
about these challenges too.

Cheers,
Alastair
