Thanks for this, highly relevant. From my experience of war zones, emblems are very important and heavily used, as well abused. It goes from writing "TV" with tape on cars to covering whole vans with red-cross colors and symbols. Detection can sometimes save civilian lives. To have proper verification is very important, because certain militians abuse them to go past guarded areas and because armies doubting authenticity will shoot despite emblems are visible. The technical challenge will not just be about verification, but both detection and verification in areas where signals can be disturbed. Visibility and audio are the only effective vectors and objects or people carrying emblems may be moving at high speed and may need to be recognized and verified from up in the sky. ciao -- Denis "Jaromil" Roio Dyne.org think &do tank Ph.D, CTO & founder software to empower communities ✉ Haparandadam 7-A1, 1013AK Amsterdam, The Netherlands 𝄞 crypto κρυπτο крипто क्रिप्टो 加密 التشفير הצפנה ⚷ 6113D89C A825C5CE DD02C872 73B35DA5 4ACB7D10
