FYI -------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: Looking for a co-chair for the DID Methods WG Resent-Date: Thu, 11 Dec 2025 18:23:19 +0000 Resent-From: public-did-wg@w3.org Date: Thu, 11 Dec 2025 19:23:16 +0100 From: Pierre-Antoine Champin <pierre-antoine@w3.org> To: Decentralized Identifier Working Group <public-did-wg@w3.org> Dear participants to the DID Working Group, as you know, we have been working on a charter for a new working group, aimed at standardizing some DID methods. This charter is currently stuck, because Markus Sabadello is not at this moment in a position to be a chair of the WG. While it is allowed by the W3C process to have a single chair, who is an Invited Expert, it sends a much better signal to have two proposed chairs, one of them being affiliated with a W3C member. Is anyone, affiliated with a W3C member, interested in co-chairing this WG? Please contact me. thanks in advance Pierre-Antoine Champin Principal Data Strategist, W3C [1] https://w3c.github.io/did-methods-wg-charter/2025/did-methods-wg.html
