#RevisitingSSI: Second Kickoff - Asia-Pacific, Europe and Africa (Dec 9)

Quick update: the December 2nd kickoff went great. Twenty-plus participants
from seven countries—Switzerland, Sweden, Spain, Austria, Canada, Puerto
Rico, and the US—spent two hours and explored four of the 15 Lenses.

For those just tuning in: we're updating the original 2016 Self-Sovereign
Identity principles for their 10th anniversary. Working circles will
develop papers through May 2026—examining where the movement succeeded,
where it fell short, and what principles need revision.

meeting, the second kickoff is this coming Tuesday:

  **Tuesday December 9th, 7am CET / 3pm Tokyo; (Monday December 8th, 10pm
PT, US West Coast)**

Same format, same agenda—you won't be behind. This is the entry point for
anyone whose timezone made the first meeting impractical. Europeans or
Africans who prefer a morning meeting to the previous 7pm evening schedule
also now have a second chance.

The CSSPS authors from Japan (Charnon Pattiyanon and Toshiaki Aoki) will be
joining us. Their 42-property framework directly informs the "From
Principles to Compliance" Lens (

they're interested in how this community might apply it. Other Lenses will
be discussed.
