In addition to the link that Simone provided, I'll mention that we've
had a longstanding relationship with the Accessibility WG at W3C and
have discussed various things with them such as Verifiable Credentials
for Accessibility (establishing accessibility needs to a website --
dark mode, high contrast text, audio-only interface, etc.) in a
privacy preserving way.

The upcoming Render Method mechanisms are probably going to be the
first to really lean on the a11y group to determine what forms of
accessible display mechanisms we can provide for those with a11y
needs.

There is also work being done in various venues around VCs to assert
government-issued entitlements to accessibility services (parking,
transportation, social services) based on accessibility needs. I can't
go into these items in too much depth because much of it isn't public
yet.

Hope that helps; the takeaway is that there is active work and
thinking in the a11y space around VCs that has been going on for some
time.
