Square/Block/TBD just released a write up on the work they did for the California DMV Hackathon for which they won the "Best Privacy & Security Design" award. They used technologies incubated by this group (W3C Verifiable Credentials, DIDs, JSON-LD, and CBOR-LD) to achieve their win. Square's point of sale solutions are used by more than 4 million businesses that do more than $209B in business a year. Congrats to Gabe and his teams at TBD for making it happen! The article is worth a read, and they have a show and tell coming up on October 22nd that'll be worth attending for folks in the CCG. https://developer.tbd.website/blog/ca-dmv-mdl/ -- manu -- Manu Sporny - https://www.linkedin.com/in/manusporny/ Founder/CEO - Digital Bazaar, Inc. https://www.digitalbazaar.com/
