Support request for Multiformats at IETF 116 DISPATCH WG

Hey CCG (bcc: VCWG),

Just a quick heads up that there will be a presentation on both
Multibase and Multihash, two specifications that we've been incubating
in the CCG for several years, at IETF 116 in the DISPATCH WG (March
27th 2023 @ 9:30am Yokohama time). The IETF DISPATCH WG is set up to
progress specifications at IETF by finding a home for them.

If you secure VCs using Data Integrity, use did:key, or want to
cryptographically link Verifiable Credentials to each other, you
depend on both Multibase and Multihash. As such, we'd appreciate your
signature of support here (we will stop collecting signatures this
coming Friday, March 24th):

To be clear, none of this has anything to do with the upcoming VCWG
feature freeze deadline -- this is a totally different set of
initiatives at IETF (with different deadlines).

The presentation slide deck calling for the adoption of these formats
at IETF is attached. Happy to answer any questions that folks have.

The most immediate thing that we need from everyone on this list
that's using these technologies is their signatures on the document
above.
