Hmmm... :( This (see attachment) seems like a bad idea given that the CCG incubated both sets of technologies (and a variety of technologies in the ecosystem) and is the main area (around W3C) where stuff like this is discussed. Perhaps the Chairs can have a discussion with each of these individuals to see why they felt like yet another group to discuss applications of DIDs and VCs were necessary. ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: <public-council@w3.org> Date: Tue, Oct 11, 2022 at 10:12 AM Subject: Decentralized Identifier and Verifiable Credentials Applications Community Group Launched To: Nishant Agrawal <nishi.in@gmail.com>, Brian Richter <brian@aviary.tech>, Luis Meijueiro <luis.meijueiro@w3.org>, Lovely Agrawal <lovelyagrawal@gmail.com>, Avinash Chambhare <a4avic@gmail.com>, Cc: <public-council@w3.org> With your support, the Decentralized Identifier and Verifiable Credentials Applications Community Group has been launched: http://www.w3.org/community/applied-did-and-vc/ This group was originally proposed on 2022-10-09 by Nishant Agrawal.
