Interesting, I hadn’t noticed rel=“me”. Speaking in a very hand wavy
manner, this is like did:web. It’s helpful for the more obvious
impersonation attempts that have been impacting twitter…the kind that tank
stock prices, etc.

Out of curiosity I’ve been monitoring the effects of twitter’s experiments
on “verified” profiles.
