Re: W3C Credentials CG Call Tues: mobile DL deck

Different objectives, different audiences.
ISO Members are National Standards Bodies, not companies. ISO standards are
used as a basis of international trade and certain treaty organizations. I
speculate that there is often confusion of the term “open” as meaning “free
as in beer”. Nothing is free in standardization- someone pays. And the
value for money balance for the funders is obviously worth it to them
(otherwise funding ceases). Which is all fine.
