Hello CCG membership, We chairs are proposing a charter amendment to address issue #136 (https://github.com/w3c-ccg/community/issues/136) by articulating a voting process based on Ranked Choice Voting (https://www.fairvote.org/rcv) and explicit voting qualifications based on CCG participation. There are also minor scope updates to reflect the changes we've seen across work items over the years. This officially begins the 2-week period for the charter amendment, as per the current charter: > Chairs may propose amendments to the charter by asking for a call for principled objections to the new charter. If, after a period of two weeks, no principled objections have been presented by a current member of the group, the new charter is approved. Please consult the "Amendments to this Charter" section of the current charter for details. Current charter: https://docs.google.com/document/d/15_7noTaKsqN-TBR7VgECpy-H-zS05rNds81GyRw95jE/edit# Charter with proposed amendments: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1YJ2kPg_zzR8oINq9MDf6KcAma21OJtmwAENjzzHe-iA/edit# For accessibility and convenience, I have also attached the .txt version of these charters along with a diff output. If you have comments or feedback, either comment in this thread and the list, or leave your comments in the Google Docs. Please reply to this list by February 3rd if you have a principled objection to these amendments, otherwise they will be accepted by default. To do this, you must explicitly state that you have a principled objection and then your concern to the list as to avoid ambiguity. Best, - Wayne
