In an effort to encourage wider use of the digitally-signed credentials in the EU, the European Commission developed the Europass Digital Credentials Infrastructure (EDCI), a set of standards, services, and software, which enable learners, employers, education and training providers to issue, store, share and verify the authenticity and the validity of legal digital credentials in Europe, in order to promote standardisation, interoperability and to make sure that any digital credential has legal validity across all 27 member states. The webinar will aim to: present the key technical features of EDCI and the different scenarios to integrate them into existing digital ecosystems. highlight some characteristics of the Europass Learning Model, key components of EDCI, present the Early Adopters' Programme, designed to support organisations in integrating EDCs to their digital ecosystems. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session with members of the Europass team at the European Commission. Who Should Attend? The webinar is open to organisations interested in issuing, storing or receiving digitally-signed credentials. This includes software companies designing student information systems, learning management systems, e-portfolios or human resource management systems. Please register your participation here.
