Dear all, This is a reminder that the DIF / CCG Secure Data Storage Working group weekly call will be happening tomorrow, Thursday May 21st, at 4pm Eastern / 1pm Pacific / 22:00 CEST. *Meeting link:* https://zoom.us/j/884468271 Specification: https://identity.foundation/secure-data-store/ Specification repository: https://github.com/decentralized-identity/secure-data-store Audio recordings and transcripts of previous meetings: https://dif.groups.io/g/sds-wg/wiki/19633 As always, the IPR policy requires that you can only make substantive contributions if you join the DIF SDS Working Group. To join please follow the instructions at https://dif.groups.io/g/sds-wg/wiki/Home *Previously* On the previous call, we started the conversation regarding Architectural Layers. (For an example of the initial outline of layers based on the EDV paper, see https://identity.foundation/secure-data-store/#architecture -- this is only an example, as we've started the process of rearranging them.) We have rough initial consensus that we should work on the Layers *in order*, from lowest layer (likely concerned with storage of encrypted file chunks), to the higher levels that will likely involve semantic APIs and so on. But what exactly will those layers be, and which items and functionality should go in which layer? That brings us to the topic of this next call. *Rough Meeting Agenda* The preliminary agenda for May 21, 2020 meeting: 1. IPR Policy Reminders 2. Introductions and Re-Introductions 3. Community Announcements, if any 4. Continuing the review of Architecture Layers, and a discussion of which items go into which layers. Thank you.
