You could check out `did:web` method. This might be what you are looking for. https://github.com/w3c-ccg/did-method-web Latest version is here: https://w3c-ccg.github.io/did-method-web/ It allows to host a DID Document under a well-known URL, e.g., www.example.org/.well-known The corresponding DID would look this: `did:web:example.org`.
