Self Sovereign ID in Spain (Alastria)

Hi everyone,

My name is Alex Puig, I’m the founder of Alastria and have been full-time
working on Blockchain and distributed apps for the last Five years (I
started with Bitcoin).

Alastria aims to be a nation-wide public Blockchain, and our main mission
is to provide with a Self Sovereign ID for everyone, free, legal and
interoperable. Alastria has no Business Model (we are a Non profit
association). Right now we have >150 associates, including startups,
Universities and most of the biggest companies in Spain (Santander, BBVA,
Repsol, Telefonica….)

Next week I’m holding a small meeting in Bacelona

by a working group the next day to design a framework for the Digital ID in
Alastria. We have resources to build it (open source) and start using it in
Alastria.

To the point : I need your help. We will base the framework on the work
you’ve done so far. We have a small presentation on DIDs and Fabian
Vogelsteller will talk about ERC725.

Do you think of anyone in Europe who would like to join the team on Friday?
Any advise on the working group or how to lead it? We are open to
collaborations of any type.

Jordi Baylina, Luis Ivan Cuende and a small group of cryptographers and
professors in local Universities
