Don't read the story, don't look at the patent, don't talk about it.

Yes, in a sane world, we wouldn't have to do this, but patents 'cause us
to do a few ridiculous things as a result of laws not keeping pace with
technology.

If there is something that says anything about a new patent, and it
touches the work we're doing, don't look at it, and certainly don't
suggest changes to the specification as a result of the patent or talk
to the editors or contributors to any of the specifications we're
working on.

Treat it as if you were dealing with Medusa. Don't look at it, and
certainly don't go wandering into its lair.
