Don't read the story, don't look at the patent, don't talk about it. Yes, in a sane world, we wouldn't have to do this, but patents 'cause us to do a few ridiculous things as a result of laws not keeping pace with technology. If there is something that says anything about a new patent, and it touches the work we're doing, don't look at it, and certainly don't suggest changes to the specification as a result of the patent or talk to the editors or contributors to any of the specifications we're working on. Treat it as if you were dealing with Medusa. Don't look at it, and certainly don't go wandering into its lair. -- manu -- Manu Sporny (skype: msporny, twitter: manusporny, G+: +Manu Sporny) Founder/CEO - Digital Bazaar, Inc. blog: The State of W3C Web Payments in 2017 http://manu.sporny.org/2017/w3c-web-payments/
