We were in a meeting about VCWG related stuff in perth and one of the issues i considered (perhaps we all did) was version control / provenance. The issue i highlighted was where an ontological definition may change in future, which in-turn may change the inferred meaning of the claim. The example i used was https://schema.org/Physician (currently a 'place') which may in future define a professional (in relation to "person") One way of solving this seemed to be to package the ontological definition used. Another would be to require version control on the ontology (but this may be difficult to enforce?) other thoughts? Tim.
