Hi all, The Linked Data Signatures, RDF Dataset Normalization, Proof of Publication, and Bitcoin/Ethereum (Koblitz) signature suites have always awkwardly straddled the Web Payments CG and the Credentials CG. There were around 30-40 of us out in San Francisco this week for Rebooting Web of Trust III and a few of us wanted to give these specs a more appropriate home. So, we're launching the Digital Verification Community Group https://www.w3.org/community/blog/2016/10/23/proposed-group-digital-verification-community-group/ The mission of the Digital Verification Community Group is to study, design, promote, and deploy systems that increase trust on the Web. These systems include, but are not limited to, signature systems, data normalization algorithms, and computational proof systems. If you'd like to support the creation of the CG, go here: https://www.w3.org/community/groups/proposed#digital-verification and click on the link to support the creation of the group. -- manu -- Manu Sporny (skype: msporny, twitter: manusporny, G+: +Manu Sporny) Founder/CEO - Digital Bazaar, Inc. blog: Rebalancing How the Web is Built http://manu.sporny.org/2016/rebalancing/
