This is a summary of how the Verifiable Claims Task Force Proposal discussion went in the Web Payments Interest Group. In general, comments were largely positive. There was concern that tokenization of data was not listed in the problem statement and it should be. There was also concern that we didn't spell out the value-add for the market verticals (finance, education, healthcare). There was support to "move to the next step". "Moving to the next step" looks like this right now: We need to make sure we have a crisp problem statement that has buy in from a wide variety of organizations. We've done a first pass at this, but will need to do a second pass to include some organizations that didn't participate in the first round. We will be meeting next week on Tuesday (December 1st) at 11am to discuss the problem statement. We'll go into the details of what this discussion will look like tomorrow during the Credentials CG call. -- manu -- Manu Sporny (skype: msporny, twitter: manusporny, G+: +Manu Sporny) Founder/CEO - Digital Bazaar, Inc. blog: Web Payments: The Architect, the Sage, and the Moral Voice https://manu.sporny.org/2015/payments-collaboration/
