Recently, I have had trouble using JavaScript's "document.write()" with JAWS. JAWS will not read its text. Research told me this would happen with 7.0 and earlier. However, this function has many advantages as it allows tables to be printer friendly. I suggest that somehow screen readers be made compatible to read the text inside the function. Anybody agree? From my coding, I was able to make a website printer friendly without having to open a separate window. Also, I did find an alternative, however, I'm still working out the bugs: a way users can save a portion of a table, then have a screen reader read that portion to the user.
