Hello, 30 June 2005 Working Draft of General Techniques for WCAG 2.0 consists of a lot of documents, written in XHTML 1.0 Transitional, but unfortunately none of them is conformant. 1. All document lacks the required namespace declaration for XHTML on the root element. While this omission doesn't render the document invalid (so DTD-based validation tools won't complain), this is required by the document conformance. See XHTML 1.0 section 3.1.1 [1], item 3. 2. The following documents contain validation errors. I trust that editors can figure out what's wrong by themselves, so I won't elaborate here. content-structure-presentation-color.html navigation-mechanisms-title.html [1] http://www.w3.org/TR/2002/REC-xhtml1-20020801/#strict Regards, -- Masayasu Ishikawa / mimasa@w3.org W3C - World Wide Web Consortium
