Hi everyone,
The Accessibility Internationalization Community Group has been launched:
http://www.w3.org/community/global-inclusion/
This group was originally proposed on 2024-03-14 by Lisa Seeman-Horwitz.
The following people supported its
creation:
Lisa Seeman-Horwitz
Leandro S. Guedes
Jan McSorley
Rachael Bradley Montgomery
Tiffany Burtin
We are able to make adjustments to the name to avoid any confusion with
A-I. We will need to find a time for an initial meeting, so I wanted to
propose that we consider holding the first meeting on Wednesday, April 3,
2024 at 11:00 Eastern. At our first meeting, we can discuss changes that
need to be made to the name and the draft description. We will also need to
discuss when we will hold future meetings so that people from around the
world can attend at times that are more convenient.
Please let me know if there are any concerns with holding the first meeting
on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at 11:00 Eastern. If there are no objections, I
will work on an agenda and get a meeting invitation sent out as soon as
possible.
In the interim, please help us recruit members and ask people to join the
group through the following link:

*We put a man on the moon in the 1960's. Surely we can make information
technology fully accessible to people with disabilities. It can be done. It
must be done. It will be done!*
