Hi, Lisa, it would be great if we could adjust the editor's note so the
"old" issue papers sound like they may still have some value. Two changes
to consider:

   - *Replace "is out of date" with "was published several years ago."*
      - "out of date" may sound like the paper is no longer useful.
   - *Make clearer what kind of errors the issue paper might contain. *
      - Are we trying to say the paper may contain major errors, like the
      old studies in the issue paper may have been disproven by new studies? Or
      are we mainly talking about minor errors like spelling and punctuation?


With the above concerns in mind, I am suggesting two alternatives that
differ based on how dire we want to be about possible errors:

   1. *Less dire wording:*
   Editor's note: This issue paper was published several years ago. It may
   be missing new research that is relevant to this topic. It may also contain
   minor errors such as spelling and punctuation.

   2. *More dire wording: *
   Editor's note: This issue paper was published several years ago. It may
   be missing new research that has significantly changed the way researchers
   approach this issue. It may also contain minor errors such as spelling and
   punctuation.
