Hi folks We decided on the last two calls to update the user research modules. Can you take a look at the discussion below and see what module you can update? Also please ask colleagues and others who may have done a similar review. (If we can use their work as well we will give them a credit and if there is a research grant this will count as dissemination and harmonization with standards!) The user research module looks at accessibility challenges from the user point of view, typically as groups of users.See coga-user-research/ <https://www.w3.org/TR/coga-user-research/>. This involves looking for research on where these user groups struggle to use content and what Web design strategies can support them. We may also need to update the descriptions of disabilities. We are aiming to get the literary review done by february and the analysis in March. To do this we will need to check for new research as a literary review to update the following modules: - Autistic people - dyslexia - down syndrome and intellectual disabilities - Aphasia - age related and dementia - dyscalculia - non verbal - (We already have someone working on ADD) We are also intending to add new modules on: - mental health - Illness (chemo brain, post viral infections such as long covid etc ) - General learning and cognitive disabilities using functional needs as the user needs Also you can see our guidelines of how to do a litarty review <https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wu0WYcvCpp-zIz2NzPk2AuTJOrzgh3T4sKQgzCa10ps/edit> . Of course we can add another module if it is of particular interest to you or a colleague .
