Coga related subgroups starting

Hello,

The AGWG will be starting 3 topical subgroups to do the intitial work on guidance for WCAG 3. The taskforce felt all of these topics were important at some level. I've listed details of each topic below.

If possible, we would like one expert from the COGA taskforce on each of these subgroups but I believe timing and interruptions is the highest priority. This is an 8 week committment.

We have a survey open about participation<https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/35422/content_subgroups_round_1/> until next Tuesday July 11th. Please consider signing up.

Details on each topic are below.

  * Harm from Motion Guideline Subgroup:
     * On-screen motion does not cause harm
     * Includes WCAG 2.x SC 2.3.1 Three Flashes or Below Threshold, 2.3.2 Three Flashes, and 2.3.3 Animation from Interactions
  *   Content Order Guideline Subgroup
     * Contents are programmatically and visually ordered
     *

Includes WCAG 2.x SC 1.3.2 Meaningful Sequence and 2.4.3

Focus Order (as well as focus management)

  * Timing and Interruptions Guideline Subgroup
     * The site or app minimizes the impact of timing and interruptions
     * This includes parts of WCAG 2.x SC WCAG 2.2.1, 2.2.2, 2.2.3, 2.2.4, 2.2.25, and 2.2.6. A list of topics from these SC that we expect to be included is:
        *   Controlling Auto-updating content
        *   Do unnecessary interruptions exist
        * Can interruptions be postponed or suppressed and how
        * Can interruptions be saved and addressed later
        *
Timeouts
        *
Re-authenticating

Thank you,

Rachael
