Hello, The individual who submitted issue 141 was concerned that the term "math" can be interpreted as either a noun or verb (i.e., to "math" something or figure it out) throughout Content Usable. After consulting with a plain language expert (thank you, John Rochford!) we've determined that using the term "math" is preferred from a plain language perspective. In order to resolve the original concern, I suggest to adding the term "mathematics" in parenthesis after the first occurrence of "math" in Content Usable. The proposed response is below. Please let reply if you have any concerns with this response. Thank you for your suggestion. After consulting with a plain language expert, it has been agreed that using the term "math" is preferred from a plain language perspective. The word "mathematical" will be inserted in parenthesis after the first usage of the word "math" to address your concern. Refer to the content below for context.
