From Steve & John Kirkwood - Allow user to prepare for and review the entire route and next step - Provide landmarks that can easily be recognised - Provide cardinal directions (ie general or global) - Facilitate reorientation when get off the route - Support awareness of distances (Maybe ephasis also on "make it easy to avoid interruptions", as this is really important here.) Now we need to Add it to the user needs Add it to the patterns Maybe add it to a persona scenario (Tom?). I think we can add this to the user needs under objectives for: "avoid mistakes" or https://w3c.github.io/coga/content-usable/#objective-ensure-processes-do-not-rely-on-memory or focus. In the patterns section, it is partially included in " Let Users Control When the Content Changes" and s https://w3c.github.io/coga/content-usable/#pattern-design-forms-to-prevent-mistakes . We could add to them a bit more or make a separate patter. Notes: - Indoor: many more stimuli - Outdoor: larger demands on memory - Other patterns like reducing distractions and personalisation apply as always All the best Lisa Seeman http://il.linkedin.com/in/lisaseeman/, https://twitter.com/SeemanLisa
