Hi everyone, If you missed the WCAG call today here’s a brief overview of the process for commenting on Understanding documents for 2.1. There is a survey for approval, but the initial stage is being handled (in a new-ish way) with github. NOT FOR CODE, just for comments. The idea is: * Go to the Github issue for an understanding document, e.g. Identify common purpose: https://github.com/w3c/wcag21/issues/779 * It links to the SC text, and the latest understanding document in the very short description, these are the rendered versions, not code. * Make any comments or updates there. If you have contributions, great, post them as comments, or create a google doc and link to it in a github comment. * If there are updates to COGA related understanding docs, I’m happy to do those in the github HTML version, just let me know. * If you are happy with the understanding document, you can approve it in the survey: https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/35422/Clearing_Understanding/ The three main COGA SCs understanding doc issue pages are here: Identify common purpose: https://github.com/w3c/wcag21/issues/779 Timeouts: https://github.com/w3c/wcag21/issues/785 Identify purpose: https://github.com/w3c/wcag21/issues/780 However, you are very welcome (encouraged!) to review other people’s understanding docs as well. Full list: https://github.com/w3c/wcag21/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+label%3AUnderstanding Any questions, please let me know. Kind regards, -Alastair
