Hi
I propose rewording the following success cryteria
Provide a clear structure that includes:
3.3.2 Interactive controls are visually clear or visually clear controls are easily available that conform to the following:
3.3.3 Instructions, labels, navigation and important information are provided with a clear writing style that includes:
3.4.1 A predictable design is used within a set of pages that includes:
3.5.2 Support is provided that help users understand the content, that includes:3.5.3 Support is provided that help users complete and check their task, that includes
with the content at the temporary URL

notes
The bullet points are the same (other then a few converged redundancies). It is realy just a restructuring
The techniques, terms and exceptions would be the same as in the original wording
the number of bulet points is now much lower and I think the success criteria are cleaner
The new success cryteria are
Provide a clear structure that includes:
Provide a predictable design within a set of pages that includes:
Provide a clear and understandable layout that includes:
Interactive controls are visually clear or visually clear controls are easily available that conform to the following:
Information that is most likely to be important to the user is easy to find, such that:
Known standardized APIs for tools that help the user understand and use the content are supported. (Such as synchronized speech, password management tools, simplification and others)
Provided content and information that help users understand the content
Prevent the user from making errors
Support is provided that help users check their task and repair their work
Instructions, labels, navigation and important information are provided with a clear writing style that includes:

Hi Folks
I am starting to work on restructuring some of the success criteria with long lists - and ones that overlap with each other a bit
you can see my work at a temporary URL
https://rawgit.com/w3c/coga/master/extension/rewroded%20sc.html
(It might be helpful when thinking about volunteering for SC to see why some may be restructured...)

John , maybe do the one on security, as that is unlikely to be restructured

Hi Folks
Please can you volunteer for putting success criteria into the WCAG template by signing up here:
<https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/cognitive-a11y-tf/wiki/SC_todo_list> https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/cognitive-a11y-tf/wiki/SC_todo_list
Writing up according to the template: <https://github.com/w3c/wcag21/wiki/Proposals-for-new-Success-Criteria> https://github.com/w3c/wcag21/wiki/Proposals-for-new-Success-Criteria
(also attached as html page - if you need it in MS word let me know)
I made a sample at : <https://rawgit.com/w3c/coga/master/extension/support-personalization.html> https://rawgit.com/w3c/coga/master/extension/support-personalization.html (note this does not follow the template right now but has all the content - I will try to update it to the new template soon)
It is worth looking at wcag 2.O such as <https://www.w3.org/TR/UNDERSTANDING-WCAG20/text-equiv-all.html> https://www.w3.org/TR/UNDERSTANDING-WCAG20/text-equiv-all.html to see the kind of wording used in WCAG.
Comply with: <https://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/wiki/WCAG_2.1_Success_Criteria> https://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/wiki/WCAG_2.1_Success_Criteria
Also, realy realy important , is we want to get these passed, to do this we realy want to:
* show the benefits including any evidence and
* show test-ability
* make it clear
you can see an example of a general test procedure here: <https://www.w3.org/TR/2016/NOTE-WCAG20-TECHS-20160317/G92.html#G92-tests> https://www.w3.org/TR/2016/NOTE-WCAG20-TECHS-20160317/G92.html#G92-tests
Some thing we might want to clarify s that people with cognitive disabilities include many types of disabilities such as
people with
* Language related disabilities
* Memory related disabilities
* Focus and attention related disabilities
* Executive and decision making disabilities
All the best
