There won’t be a Cognitive AI CG telecon this week due to conflicting appointments. I have been working on modelling human memory along with the forgetting curve in terms of chunk activation and spreading activation. A demo is in preparation to compare performance over time on ungrouped items, and on items that are easy to group into clusters. This involves the integration of sub-symbolic processing into the JavaScript Chunks library, and paves the way for work on learning thematic and taxonomic relationships, and the role of sub-symbolic processing for natural language understanding and generation.
