Meanwhile, I am now able to resume work on cognitive natural language processing and figuring out requirements from a number of examples with a view to building a web based demo for concurrent processing at different stages along the NLU pipeline.

I have also done some implementation work on spreading activation and stochastic recall, and now need to look to cognitive psychology for ideas for a demo that models how human memory works, i.e. how practice overcomes forgetfulness, and replicating the forgetting curve and spacing effect.

p.s. with a view to work on remote access to cognitive databases, I recently purchased a mini PC (a Gigabyte Intel NUC), and installed Xubuntu. Over the next few months I hope to find time to start work on indexing facts and rules, in a way that mimics the functioning of the anterior cingulate gyrus. This is key to creating scalable cognitive databases. I plan to use HTTPS and WSS for remote access, building upon work I did some years back with NodeJS on the Arena Web Hub for the Web of Things.
