Thank you, Ciara! I’m looking for what disabilities and cognitive considerations are within the scope of COGA. To date within AGWG work I’ve seen a gap in trauma-based considerations. We label a set of symptoms into diagnoses, but I wonder if the symptoms are more useful to think about. For example, startle response / hyper-arousal, hyper-vigilance, body memories / triggers, forgetfulness / memory, attention, etc. Many symptoms are shared across diagnoses. Then PTS(D) is distinct from C-PTS(D), which many are unaware of. Is trauma within COGA’s scope? Hi Jen, Lisa may have better documentation to point you to as she is on the Task Force. To my understanding, this is the Cognitive Accessibility at W3C webpage lays out what cognitive standards are built into Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Hi Jen, Lisa may have better documentation to point you to as she is on the Task Force. To my understanding, this is the Cognitive Accessibility at W3C webpage<https://www.w3.org/WAI/cognitive/> lays out what cognitive standards are built into Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG<https://www.w3.org/WAI/standards-guidelines/wcag/>) and the additional Making Content Usable for People with Cognitive and Learning Disabilities (“Content Usable<https://www.w3.org/TR/coga-usable/>”) which is much longer to include aims and objectives for usable content, design patterns (ways) to make content usable and more. Hopefully that webpage is what you are looking for. If not, perhaps Lisa can help!
