Re: Welcome!

Hello,

I am an accessibility specialist at the Library of Congress and a co-chair of the Accessibility Guidelines Working Group.

I hope the group can help expand what we know about:

  * Barriers to web use faced by people with cognitive and learning disabilities,
  * Barriers to web use faced by individuals with mental health challenges, and
  *   Solutions to those barriers.

I’m hoping this group makes it easier to involve new and diverse voices on these topics.

I am looking forward to learning from you all.

Kind regards,

Rachael

Hi!

I’m a French accessibility expert working at Access42 (a digital accessibility consultancy).

I’ve joined the group to see how I might contribute and also as a mean to deepen my knowledge about Cognitive and Learning Disabilities Accessibility.

Kind regards,

Welcome to our new community! Our aim is to improve cognbative accessibility and help the Cognitive and Learning Disabilities Accessibility (COGA) Task Force.

Things we can do include:

- Sharing challenges when using the web
- Suggesting user needs
- Helping with research
- Suggesting ways to improve accessibility for the community

I was hoping we could start by introducing ourselves and maybe saying a bit about what we want the community to achieve.

All the best

Lisa Seeman
