Hello, I am an accessibility consultant working on issues related to cognitive access in the United States, and I have experience in research and work on dementia-friendly communities. One key access need I wanted to highlight for MCI and dementia that I think could be spelled out more in the cognitive accessibility draft is the need for visual text alternatives for many meaningful images and icons: many people with MCI and early dementia lose the ability to process images but can rely on text for a longer period of time. Thanks, -- *Jonathan Katz-Ouziel* Principal Consultant, Opossum House Accessibility <https://www.opossumhouseaccessibility.com> jonathan@opossumhouseaccessibility.com
