Next Step of the CLReq

Hi folks,

The First Public Working Draft of CLReq will be published on Thursday, thanks & congratulations!

Beyond this important milestone, after chatting with the editors, if I understand correctly, we have reached some consensus about the next step.

1. There will NOT be a Recommendation or a final version. We will continue the daily update on the editor’s draft via GitHub. When the editors agreed that those changes are substantive, we reach the point to publish a new working draft. We expect to publish several WDs in the next few months, but when the TOC is completed, we will have a rather stable version.

2. We WON’T separate the TC and SC until the TOC is completed. There are some chapters that we consider as important content but not shipped in the FPWD. We will put them in before Nov 2015. If we separate the TC and SC too earlier, it will increase the difficulty to sync those different languages.

3. We have updated the editorial guidelines in the README[1]. Feel free to edit it if you have other suggestions.

4. We’ll need to update the milestones of the task force[2].

Feedbacks are welcome.

Thanks.
