The Director is pleased to announce the recharter of the Chinese Web 
Interest Group:

The group is chartered through 30 December 2024.

This is a continuation of the previous charter [1]. The Chinese Web 
Interest Group provides a forum for W3C members to enhance the 
participation in Web standards work from the Chinese Web community.

Use the following form to join the group. The form will also instruct 
you on how to nominate participants:
https://www.w3.org/groups/ig/chinese-web/join

Current participants will remain in this group and are not required to 
re-join.

Please consider diversity when proposing people to participate in W3C 
groups. Representation from a wider group of people, especially people 
from under-represented groups, is vital for creating web standards that 
meet the needs of the wider web community.

The Interest Group co-Chairs remain Qing An (Alibaba), Yiling Gu 
(Baidu), Wanming Lin (Intel), and Zitao Wang (Huawei). Team Contacts 
remain Fuqiao Xue and Xueyuan Jia for a total of 0.15 FTE.
