The organic chemistry subgroup brainstorming session will be meeting in two weeks to discuss ideas to describe the reaction of n-butyl lithium with S-2-bromo-butane. We want to hash out attempts at descriptions that can deal with a simple but very challenging reaction mechanism and set of molecules.
Attached are two chem draw files a JPEG and an SVG file of the reaction of interest. The mechanism is not provided here.
