My thinking is to check how Google Docs handles inport and export of ODF document files having change tracking and also being versioned internally to Google Docs. It is useful to know the turnaround cases and how much of ODF and OOXML documents are preserved/created. Similarly, it may be useful add Microsoft Office Web Applications and conduct the same verification with ODF documents, since this will also relate to the MSO phone and tablet apps on Android and iOS. I suspect there is no change-tracking on the cloud end at the moment and I wonder what is and is not preserved in that case for OOXML documents as well as ODF documents (for which change-tracking is ignored and not produced in MSO). - Dennis From: innovimax@gmail.com [mailto:innovimax@gmail.com] On Behalf Of Innovimax W3C Sent: Saturday, September 20, 2014 22:15 To: Dennis Hamilton Cc: public-change@w3.org Subject: Re: State of the Art (was: Starting work) Definitely Especially if you know the internal formats (for Google Docs, I'll be surprised we find anything here) Mohamed On Sun, Sep 21, 2014 at 5:44 AM, Dennis E.
