Hi , You may have already seen the news. I am happy to report that the Guidelines for Web Content Transformation Proxies specification was published yesterday as a W3C Candidate Recommendation: http://www.w3.org/TR/ct-guidelines/ and the ever-lasting version: http://www.w3.org/TR/2010/CR-ct-guidelines-20100617/ This publication means that the Mobile Web Best Practices Working Group is now looking for claims of conformance. As a reminder: - claims of conformance are for transformation deployments, and not for transformation products. - a claim of conformance requires the publication of an Implementation Conformance Statement sent to public-content-transformation-conformance@w3.org, whose public archives are available at: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-content-transformation-conformance/ - the working group will evaluate the claims of conformance it receives to prepare an implementation report. This implementation report needs to be completed before the specification can move forward to Proposed Recommendation (the last step before Recommendation). Congratulations to the group! Francois.
