Bing for mobile

I welcome the launch of the Bing (beta) search service, and note that it has a mobile version at m.bing.com

I also note that it misses a few of the important requirements tested by the mobileOK checker. The long-established Google mobile search does a little better. However, for a new entrant, the Bing mobile search is getting quite a respectable score. (Observations about cache headers should be considered carefully in light of the fact that a search service is changing in real-time, so there may not be much that can be cached.) The remaining glitches should be easy to fix.

No doubt there will be healthy competition between the various mobile search services, all to the advantage of the mobile users.
