Dear Group Participants, As you will (hopefully) all know we are planning to hold W3C Community Group discussion sessions during the forthcoming Linked Data in Linguistics workshop <http://ldl2024.linguistic-lod.org/> (25th May) to be dedicated to the Ontology Lexicon, BPMLOD, and LD4LT groups, respectively. To this end we would like to solicit suggestions from the participants of each group for discussion topics for these sessions. In particular, we are seeking suggestions as to how to maintain, and even increase, participation in these three groups -- something which has up till now been spurred on by projects/COST actions such as LIDER, ELEXIS and most recently NEXUS LINGUARUM. Is it possible to continue as an active community or communities without the formal framework of a project or a COST action, and if so, how? If not, then what other alternatives could we/should we pursue? We would also be interested in participants’ opinions on the organisation of these groups, and ideas for improving the latter. For instance, should we set concrete deadlines for different tasks, have a minimum number of meetings per group? After the LDL workshop itself, we intend to circulate the results of the discussion during the W3C sessions within each group as a report, one which will hopefully spur on further discussions both within the groups and during future in person events, and which will ultimately help us to ensure each group is more responsive to the needs of the community. To offer up your suggestion please fill in the following form and make sure to indicate whether you wish to be anonymous or whether you are willing to be cited during the sessions and in the subsequent report: https://forms.gle/rg9c3VZPM9jwK3kp9 Cheers, Fahad (on behalf of the Ontology Lexicon, BPMLOD, LD4LT chairs)
