Apologies for cross-posting 1st Workshop on the OntoLex Model (OntoLex-2017) - Call for Papers ===================================================== http://ontolex2017.linguistic-lod.org The Lemon-OntoLex model has been developed for the representation of lexicons relative to ontologies on the Semantic Web, by the W3C OntoLex Community Group, and has become the primary method for representing linked lexical data on the Web of Data. This model provides a new opportunity to bridge the gap between linguistics and NLP practitioners and the data science community by making large amounts of high quality lexical information available and linked to the knowledge that is explicitly represented on the Semantic Web, in graphs such as DBpedia. F The Lemon-OntoLex model is finding applications in many areas. For example the model is being used to link wordnets, as part of the Global WordNet Association Collaborative Interlingual Index and furthermore in the representation of existing lexical resources including BabelNet, DBnary and commercial dictionaries As such, this represents a crucial point for the various users of the model to come together and discuss the current applications of the model as well as future developments of the model. For this reason, we have established a new workshop series on the OntoLex model and its applications, that will be co-located with the First Conference on Language, Data and Knowledge (LDK 2017 <http://ldk2017.org/>) in Galway, Ireland. We welcome position statements on the following topics: - New modules for OntoLex - Application-specific extensions of the model - User experiences with the model - Applications of the model - Datasets created with the Lemon-OntoLex model and previous versions. - Linking datasets from/to OntoLex datasets Please submit papers of between 4-10 pages formatted using the Springer Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence formatting guidelines <ftp://ftp.springer.de/pub/tex/latex/svproc/guidelines/Springer_Guidelines_for_Authors_of_Proceedings.pdf>. Submissions will be reviewed by at least 3 reviewers and will be made available on online prior to the workshop.
