As promised, please find below the information regarding the report done by Strategic Biofuels, AFCC member company, with federal agencies EPA and US Forest Service in the development of the *Practical Guide to Forestry Feedstock Under the Renewable Fuel Standard.* Please circulate to the attendees in BOOST. The Practical Guide provides in-depth information regarding which non-marketable forest biomass is eligible for th*e *Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS). The guidelines provide what can qualify and how these feedstocks should be tracked for eligibility in the RFS. The Practical Guide can be found via the following link, Strategic Biofuels Publishes “A Practical Guide to Forestry Feedstock Under the Renewable Fuel Standard” Following USDA Forest Service Grant - Strategic Biofuels : Strategic Biofuels <https://strategicbiofuels.com/news/strategic-biofuels-publishes-a-practical-guide-to-forestry-feedstock-under-the-renewable-fuel-standard-following-usda-forest-service-grant/> And, as I mentioned during our virtual meeting, it is very rare that EPA would post reports crafted on the subject matter or by the private sector on their website, EPA Letter on Strategic Biofuels’ "Practical Guide to Forestry Feedstock under the Renewable Fuel Standard" | US EPA <https://www.epa.gov/fuels-registration-reporting-and-compliance-help/epa-letter-strategic-biofuels-practical-guide> Best Regards, Rina On 5/22/2025 7:22 PM, Peter Tittmann wrote: All, Thanks for your patience with scheduling. I'm looking forward to our BOOST kickoff meeting tomorrow (bright and early!) for those that can make it. If you can't make it to the meeting, I will provide recording and meeting notes. We will be leaning into async collaboration for this working group. Also, please let me know if you would like to stop receiving communications regarding the BOOST working group and I will remove you from our distribution list. Here's our agenda <https://github.com/carbondirect/BOOST/blob/main/meetings/kickoff_meeting.md> . Warmly, Peter -- *Peter Tittmann* Senior Scientist +1 707-849-4135
