Dear Colleagues, Attached is information about an initiative by ISO to establish a blockchain standard. The initiative has been given the go ahead by national standards making bodies, and, at least in Canada, the national standards body is constituting a committee to participate in the process. I will participate as a committee member, and the next step is to appoint a chair of our Canadian committee. Other national groups will have their own committees, and be at different stages of development, but I currently have no information about the status of these groups to share. Išll keep you posted on any news, though. It would be good if some time can be devoted at the upcoming W3C TPAC meeting to consider this initiative and how to coordinate efforts. Best wishes, Victoria Lemieux Associate Professor, Archival Science The University of British
