Attached is an early draft of Open Contracts spec being developed by Blocko. Open Contracts is a generic smart contract management spe intended to be compatible with Open Assets and ethereum smart contracts. Using Open Contracts, one can define smart contracts on uxto-based p2p ledgers using contract definition transactions, execute through using contract execution transactions, and terminate them using contract termination transactions. It's going to leverage existing pseudo-standards from bitcoin and ethereum world, as well as newly established standards expected from W3C's blockchain related standardization efforts. It's more of a thought-experiment on implementing ethereum-like smart contracts functionalities spanning multiple private and public blockchain entities, rather than a concrete proposal. In next few months, Blocko is going to enhance its own blockchain developemnt platform (Coinstack) with features mentioned in this document. As we further develop the idea, we will be able to share something more worthy. The preliminary document is in Korean only. I'll work on an English version soon.
