Quick note (not sure if I will make workshop) - but it will be useful to cleanly separate extensions of current APIs (WebCrypto) or uses of them (Web Authentication API or support of Bitcoin in Web Payment API) from entirely new Bitcoin/blockchain APIs/formats. The first is low-hanging fruit (if the request is sensible and is accepted by implementers, including browser vendors), while the second requirement such as "identity" requires a whole new community effort. For example, Adam Back from Blockstream was wondering if WebCrypto and the browser vendors could revisit this bug and see if there's any actual interest from browsers: https://github.com/w3c/webcrypto/issues/82 I would thus also do "Relationship to existing W3C work" first and new work second rather than a format vs. API/interop discussion at this stage. In particular, as interop is the goal of both common APIs and formats :) cheers, harry On 06/17/2016 08:41 PM, Trent McConaghy wrote: > Here's a possible re-arrangement of > -identity.
