First pass at a possible new schedule. The first morning exercises each day are more to get people to get to know each other in small groups, and to set stage for later interactions. Based on the proposals and priorities from the survey, there are 8 collaborative exercises and 4 sets of lightning talks (total 16-20 lightning talks). Goal at end is to prioritize opportunities to work together successfully with impact. — Christopher Allen Day 1: 29 June 08:00–08:30 Registration 08:30–09:00 Opening remarks by Doug Schepers 08:45–09:15 Keynote: “Intro to standards.” Wendy Seltzer, W3C. 09:15–10:15 Exercise: Collaboration Stories (3 phases: small breakout, merged breakout, report out “Secret Sauce”) 10:00–10:15 Break 10:15–10:45 Keynote: “Blockchains, Decentralization, and Standards” Arvind Narayanan 10:45–12:30 Exercise: Optimal Uses of Blockchains (3 phases: breakout 1, breakout 2, report out “Optimal Use Cases”) 12:30–13:30 Break, Lunch; Birds of a Feather Topic tables 13:30–14:00 4 or 5 Lightning Talks “Blockchain Primitives” 14:00–15:00 Exercise: Common Formats (3 phases: breakout, report out “Top Common Primitives”, group discussion) 15:00–15:30 Break 15:30–16:00 4 or 5 Lightning Talks “Interoperability & APIs” 16:00–17:00 Exercise: Interoperability (3 phases: breakout, report out “Key Protocols & APIs”, group discussion) 17:00–17:30 Closing statements 18:30–21:00 Evening event?
