Subject: Re: (Reminder) (November 8, 2016) Business Group Phone Meetings

Hi Wonsuk,

Sorry, I won't be able to attend today's BG call - I have a JLR telecon from 5pm - 7pm (UK time).
[Wonsuk] I understood. Thanks for sharing your opinions!
The main points that I would have added on the call would be:

1) Very much welcome Volkswagen's involvement and hope that they (and other OEMs) join the Automotive Group and become full, active members.
[Wonsuk.] I hope so too ☺
2) The Hybrid VIWI RESTful Web Service + WebSocket approach looks interesting and would suggest that it is picked up in parallel by the Business Group.

3) Recommend that the working group continues to progress the WebSocket based Vehicle Signal Server Specification from FPWD to Recommendation as agreed based on the timelines in the Charter.

[Wonsuk.] One question I have is what do you think of Object models from VW? It’s also one of the issue we need to discuss continuously.

Kind regards,

Sorry once again for being unable to attend...

Thanks and regards,
